![]() ![]() Julia was loved by all and will be missed. Her sisters: Mary Ellen (Campbell) Estes and Edna June (Campbell) Armstrong, and many nieces and nephews. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 8 daughters. Alfred 'Alf' Lennon (14 December 1912 1 April 1976), also known as Freddie Lennon, was an Englishman seaman and singer who was best known as the father of musician John Lennon. She married Edmond Straudwick Witherspoon on 1 January 1860, in DeKalb, Illinois, United States. Great-grandchildren: Laney, Colton and Evelyn Jones, Elliana Moore, Wesley, Dylan, Alexander, Elsa, and Bianca Jones, Dalton and Kylee Woyak. Jones was born on 13 November 1840, in Geauga, Ohio, United States, her father, James Jones, was 36 and her mother, Lucy Ann French, was 31. Grandchildren: Scott Jones, Brandon Jones, Tegan Moore, Christopher Jones, Davis Jones and Jaime Woyak. Jones & (wife) Nicolette Jones of Adair, Oklahoma. Julia is survived by her sons: Charles T. Jones Drug Co., Hillcrest Drug, and Almonte Drugs in South Oklahoma City. August 26, 1830, her parents and the members of the Jones family left Detroit by Steamer enroute. After WWII, Julia was a homemaker to her husband and their sons also working in the family owned drugs stores, ie. Miss Julia Jones states in her diary that on Thursday morning. In September 1943, they were married in Phoenix, AZ, while Charles served as an Aviation Cadet in the U.S. ![]() During her high school years, she met and fell in love with Charles while working as a soda fountain helpmate in his father's drug store, located at 29th street and South Shields Blvd., Oklahoma City. Julia attended local public schools, graduating in 1943 from Capitol Hill High School. 3 This nautical connection with Ransome, along with numerous pony books, helped to shape a lifelong enthusiasm for books. They were life-long members of Capital Hill Methodist Church. When she was 3 years old, her father George Jones bought the wooden sailing ketch Peter Duck, a yacht originally commissioned and owned by childrens novelist Arthur Ransome and named for a character in one of his novels. Julia was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Charles E. (Berry) Campbell, was born February 8, 1925, in South Oklahoma City. Julia Marie Jones, daughter of Webster L. ![]()
